19 He directed the people to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed the food. He broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the crowds.

He said, “Y’all bring them here to me.”


He directed them to have everyone sit down in groups on the green grass.


He took the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute them, and he divided the two fish among them all.


Looking up to heaven with a deep sigh, he said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”


He took the cup, and after giving thanks, he said, “Y’all take this and share it among yourselves,


He took bread, and after giving thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for y’all. Y’all do this in remembrance of me.”


When he had reclined at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and began giving it to them.


(About five thousand men were there.) He said to his disciples, “Y’all have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”


He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.


So they took away the stone. Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.


Then some boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.


After he had said this and had taken some bread, he gave thanks to God in the presence of them all. Then he broke it and began to eat.


The one who observes the day does so to the Lord. The one who eats, eats to the Lord and gives thanks to God. The one who doesn’t eat, does so to the Lord and gives God thanks.


Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing of the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing of the body of Christ?


So whether y’all eat or drink, or whatever y’all do, y’all do all to the glory of God.


and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body which is for y’all. Do this in remembrance of me.”


Whatever y’all do, in word or in deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.


As soon as y’all have come into the city, y’all will immediately find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people will not eat until he comes, because he blesses the sacrifice. Afterwards those who are invited eat. Now therefore go up, for at this time y’all will find him.”
