“But those who are godless in heart lay up anger. They don’t cry for help when he binds them.


The Son of Humanity came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look! A gluttonous human and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her deeds.”


Therefore I tell y’all, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven of humans, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.


For the Son of Humanity is Lord of the Sabbath.”


The seed sown among the thorns is the one who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, making it unfruitful.


and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.


So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age.


Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin.


And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Humanity will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.


“His master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the children of this age are more shrewd than the children of the light in dealing with their own people.


who will not receive many times more in this age, and eternal life in the age to come.”


Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his garments among them by casting lots.


The Son of Humanity has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’


There was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, he leads the multitude astray.”


But he said this about the Spirit, whom those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.


They replied, “Are you also from Galilee? Search, and you will see that no prophet has come from Galilee.”


“Therefore, y’all must repent and turn back, so that your* sins may be wiped out, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord,


far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in one to come.


even though I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. However, I was shown mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.


The saying is faithful and worthy of full acceptance: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am the worst.


For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, holding promise for the present life and the life to come.


Charge those who are rich in this present age not to be arrogant or have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.


because Demas deserted me, having loved this present age, and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.


instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires, and to live moderately, righteously, and reverently in this present age,


Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
