He sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding banquet, but they were unwilling to come.


“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the ethnic groups,


He called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two, and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits.


After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every town and place where he was about to go.


But a Samaritan on a journey came up to him and, when he saw the man, he felt gut-wrenching sympathy.


He fell on his face at Jesus’s feet, thanking him—and he was a Samaritan.


Jesus called the Twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases,


and he sent them out to preach the Empire of God and to heal the sick.


As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.


Then Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with y’all. As the Father has sent me, I am sending y’all.”


Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, but y’all Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”


So he came to a city of Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.


So the Samaritan woman said to him, “How can you, a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan woman, for a drink?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)


So the Jews said among themselves, “Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the diaspora among the Greeks and teach the Greeks?


Then the Jews answered him, “Aren’t we correct in saying that you are a Samaritan, and are possessed by a demon?”


But y’all will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you*. Y’all will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”


The circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the ethnic groups too.


And Saul approved of his killing. On that day, a great persecution arose against the church in Jerusalem, and all were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except for the apostles.


forbidding us to speak to the ethnic groups so that they may be saved. Thus they always fill up their sins, but wrath has come on them to completion.
