So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.


“When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, asks y’all, saying, ‘What is the message from YHWH?’ Then you are to tell them, ‘“What message? I will abandon y’all,” says YHWH.’


Ephraim is joined to idols. Leave him alone!


Though they raise their children, I will bereave them, until no one is left. Indeed, woe also to them when I depart from them!


Y’all are to leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”


“Y’all shouldn’t give what is holy to the dogs or throw your* pearls before the pigs, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear y’all to pieces.


He sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? I tell y’all, no sign will be given to this generation.”


They had forgotten to take bread, except for the one loaf they had with them in the boat.


Then all the people of the surrounding region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to depart from them, for they were very gripped by great fear. So he got into the boat and returned.


While y’all have the light, believe in the light, that y’all may become children of light.” Jesus said these things, and then he departed and hid himself from them.


So Jesus told them again, “I am going away, and y’all will seek me, and y’all will die in your* sins. Where I am going, y’all can’t come.”


But when they opposed him and vilified him, he shook out his clothing and said to them, “Y’all’s blood be on your* own heads! I am innocent. From now on, I will go to the ethnic groups!”


We boarded a ship from Adramyttium which was about to sail to places along the coast of Asia. Then we put to sea, along with Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, who was with us.
