God called the light “day,” and the darkness ʜᴇ called “night.” There was evening and there was morning, the first day.


God called the expanse “sky.” There was evening and there was morning, a second day.


Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”


Y’all, therefore, must keep watch, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;


But Peter said to him, “Even if all fall away, yet I will not.”


But he spoke emphatically, “Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.


Jesus replied, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied that you know me three times.”


Jesus answered him, “Will you lay down your life for me? Truly I tell you, the rooster won’t crow until you have denied me three times.


Then the young woman who was the doorkeeper said to Peter, “Are you also one of this man’s disciples?” He said, “I am not.”


Therefore let anyone who thinks they stand be careful that they doesn’t fall.
