When the crowd was sent outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.


He came and took her by the hand and raised her up. The fever left her, and she served them.


He took the blind man by the hand and brought him outside the village. He spat on his eyes, laid his hands on him, and asked him, “Do you see anything?”


But Jesus took him by the hand and raised him up. And he arose.


When he arrived at the house, Jesus didn’t allow anyone to go in with him, except Peter, John, James, and the child’s father and mother.


They began laughing at him, because they knew she was dead.


Her spirit returned, and she immediately got up. Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat.


When he had said this, he shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”


For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he wishes.


Peter sent them all out. Then he knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.


As it is written, “I have made you a father of many ethnic groups.” This is in the presence of the one in whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead and summons into being things that do not yet exist.
