But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from you, and we have given you of your own.


Her merchandise and her wages will be holiness to YHWH. It will not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise will be for those who dwell before YHWH, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.

But on Herod’s birthday, the daughter of Herodias danced before them. She pleased Herod so much
