There was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was wealthy.


He ran ahead and climbed up a sycamore tree to see Jesus, since he was about to pass that way.


He hurried, came down, and welcomed him joyfully.


Nathanael asked him, “How do you know me?” Jesus replied, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”


Jesus answered him, “Anyone who loves me will keep my word. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with that person.


Working together with ʜɪᴍ, we urge y’all not to receive the grace of God in vain.


and that Christ may dwell in y’all’s hearts through faith, so that, being rooted and grounded in love,


Y’all must not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have received angels as guests without knowing it.


Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in and dine with them, and they with me.
