And passing by thee, I saw that thou wast trodden under foot in thy own blood. And I said to thee when thou wast in thy blood: Live. I have said to thee: Live in thy blood.


For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.


And behold, there was a man named Zacheus, who was the chief of the publicans, and he was rich.


And running before, he climbed up into a sycamore tree, that he might see him; for he was to pass that way.


And he made haste and came down; and received him with joy.


Nathanael saith to him: Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered, and said to him: Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.


Jesus answered, and said to him: If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and will make our abode with him.


And we helping do exhort you, that you receive not the grace of God in vain.


That Christ may dwell by faith in your hearts; that being rooted and founded in charity,


And hospitality do not forget; for by this some, being not aware of it, have entertained angels.


Behold, I stand at the gate, and knock. If any man shall hear my voice, and open to me the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
