As y’all are going, preach this message, ‘The Empire of Heaven has come near!’


What enters into the mouth doesn’t defile a human, but what comes out of the mouth, that defiles the human.”


For John came to y’all in the way of righteousness, and y’all didn’t believe him. But the tax collectors and the prostitutes did believe him. And even after seeing this, y’all didn’t repent and believe him.


“Y’all must repent, for the Empire of Heaven has come near!”


From that time on Jesus began to preach and say, “Y’all must repent! For the Empire of Heaven has come near.”


Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the empire, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.


Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God,


Instead, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, spreading the news. As a result, Jesus could no longer openly enter into a city, but stayed outside in lonely places. Still people came to him from everywhere.


‘Even the dust from y’all’s town that clings to our feet, we wipe off against y’all. Yet y’all should know this, that the Empire of God has come near.’


Y’all heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘Empire of God has come near to y’all.’


“But Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets. They should listen to them.’


“But he told him, ‘If they didn’t listen to Moses and the Prophets, they won’t be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”


and he sent them out to preach the Empire of God and to heal the sick.


Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law and the prophets also wrote about—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”


If we leave him alone like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our ethnic group.”


So the Pharisees said so one another, “Don’t y’all see that you’ve accomplished nothing? Look, the world has gone after him.”


But this is how God fulfilled what ʜᴇ announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets—that ʜɪꜱ Christ would suffer.
