There are some who pretend to be rich, yet have nothing. There are some who pretend to be poor, yet have great wealth.


Israel is a luxuriant vine that produces his fruit. According to the abundance of his fruit he has multiplied his altars. As their land has prospered, they have adorned their sacred stones.


Woe to him who gets an evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the hand of evil!


Y’all must sell your possessions and give to the poor. Y’all must make purses for yourselves that won’t wear out, an unfailing treasure in heaven where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.


So if y’all haven’t been faithful with unrighteous wealth, who will trust y’all with true riches?


“But woe to y’all who are rich! For y’all have received y’all’s comfort.


But according to your callous and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,


as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all everything.


Those who are determined to get rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful desires that drown humans into ruin and destruction.


Y’all listen, my beloved siblings. Didn’t God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the empire which ʜᴇ promised to those who love ʜɪᴍ?


“I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
