YHWH’s anger burned against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God.


He went and found his body thrown on the path, and the donkey and the lion standing by the body. The lion had not eaten the body nor mauled the donkey.


Then YHWH’s fire fell and consumed the burnt offering, the wood, the stones, and the dust; and it licked up the water that was in the trench.


Elijah answered to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky and consume you and your fifty!” Then fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.

YHWH’s anger burned against Uzza, and he struck him because he put his hand on the ark; and he died there before God.

Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before ʜɪᴍ. It is very stormy around ʜɪᴍ.

So they came near, and carried them in their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had said.

Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our warning, on whom the outcomes of the ages have come.


He struck of the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of YHWH, he struck fifty thousand seventy of the men. Then the people mourned, because YHWH had struck the people with a great slaughter.
