whose eyes despise the vile person, but who honors those who fear YHWH; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change;


He took one of the royal offspring, and made a covenant with him. He also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land,


“‘As I live,’ says Lord YHWH, ‘surely in the place where the king dwells who made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he broke, even with him in the middle of Babylon he will die.


By faith Rahab the prostitute didn’t perish with those who were disobedient, and welcomed the spies in peace.


The city and all that is in it, is to be devoted to YHWH. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in the house may live, because she hid the messengers that we sent.


The young men who were spies went in, and brought out Rahab with her father, her mother, her brothers, and all that she had. They also brought out all of her relatives, and they set them outside of the camp of Israel.


Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them to let them live. The leaders of the congregation swore to them.


He showed them the entrance into the city, and they struck the city with the edge of the sword; but they let the man and all his family go.
