Elijah took his mantle, and rolled it up, and struck the waters; and they were divided here and there, so that they both went over on dry ground.


Hᴇ turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in ʜɪᴍ.


Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and YHWH caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.


The children of Israel went into the middle of the sea on the dry ground; and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.


But the children of Israel walked on dry land in the middle of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.


He has swallowed up death forever! Lord YHWH will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for YHWH has spoken it.


You are to speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “When y’all cross over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,


By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were swallowed up.


When all the nation had completely crossed over the Jordan, YHWH spoke to Joshua, saying,


For the priests who bore the ark stood in the middle of the Jordan until everything was finished that YHWH commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua; and the people hurried and passed over.


When all the people had crossed-crossed over, the ark of YHWH crossed over with the priests before the faces of the people.


Then y’all are to inform y’all’s children, saying, ‘Israel crossed over the Jordan on dry ground.


and y’all are to command them, saying, ‘Y’all take twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan, from the place where the priests’ feet are standing firm, and carry them over with y’all, and lay them down in the place where y’all stop tonight.’”


When all the kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, who were by the sea, heard how YHWH had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, their heart melted, and there was no more spirit in them, because of the children of Israel.
