But now YHWH my God has given me rest on every side. There is no enemy and no evil occurrence.


He struck the Philistines to Gaza and its borders, from the tower of the watchmen to the fortified city.


He went out and fought against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath, the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod; and he built cities in the country of Ashdod, and among the Philistines.


I will set your borders from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River. I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into y’all’s hand, and you will drive them out before you.


The word of YHWH that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the Philistines, before Pharaoh struck Gaza.


Baldness has come on Gaza; Ashkelon is brought to nothing. You remnant of their valley, how long will you cut yourself?


For Gaza will be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation. They will drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron will be rooted up.
