But now the Lord my God hath given me rest round about: and there is no adversary nor evil occurrence.


He smote the Philistines as far as Gaza, and all their borders, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.


Moreover he went forth and fought against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Geth, and the wall of Jabnia, and the wall of Azotus. And he built towns in Azotus. And among the Philistines.


And I will set thy bounds from the Red Sea to the sea of the Palestines: and from the desert to the river. I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hands: and will drive them out from before you.


The word of the Lord that came to Jeremias the prophet against the people of Palestine, before Pharao took Gaza.


Baldness is come upon Gaza: Ascalon hath held her peace with the remnant of their valley. How long shalt thou cut thyself?


For Gaza shall be destroyed, and Ascalon shall be a desert, they shall cast out Azotus at noonday, and Accaron shall be rooted up.
