When King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of YHWH.


Jehoshaphat was alarmed, and set himself to seek to YHWH. He proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.


Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from him a straight way for us, for our little ones, and for all our possessions.
