Jacob vowed a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and clothing to put on,


Then Noah built an altar to YHWH, and took some of every clean animal and every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.


Naaman said, “If not, then, please let two mules’ load of earth be given to your servant; for your servant will from now on offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice to other gods, but to YHWH.


Therefore humans revere ʜɪᴍ. Hᴇ doesn’t regard any who are wise of heart.”


Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare ʜɪꜱ deeds with singing.

When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.

Then the men were afraid with massive fear, and said to him, “What have you done?” For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of YHWH, because he had told them.


So then they cried out to YHWH, “Please, YHWH, we beg you, don’t let us die for this man’s life, and don’t charge us with innocent blood. For you, YHWH, have done as you have pleased.”


It is like a mustard seed sown in the ground, and even though it is smaller than all the seeds in the ground,


Great fear came on the whole church, and on all who heard about these things.


The Angel of YHWH said to Manoah, “Though you detain me, I won’t eat your bread. If you will prepare a burnt offering, you must offer it to YHWH.” For Manoah didn’t know that he was the Angel of YHWH.
