YHWH, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,


There is a river, the streams of which make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High.


I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb. You are to strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.


You are a garden fountain, a well of living waters, flowing streams from Lebanon.


Y’all will draw water joyfully from the wells of salvation.


Then the lame man will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing; for waters will break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.


“I, YHWH, have called you in righteousness. I will hold your hand. I will keep you, and make you a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations,


The wild animals of the field, the jackals and the ostriches, will honor me, because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,


For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring;


They will not hunger or thirst; neither will the heat nor sun strike them, for ʜᴇ who has mercy on them will lead them. Hᴇ will guide them by springs of water.


For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.


“For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut out cisterns for themselves: broken cisterns that can’t hold water.


“Therefore, prostitute, hear the word of YHWH:


“In that day there will be a fountain opened to David’s house and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.


It will happen in that day that living waters will go out from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea. It will be so in summer and in winter.


If y’all then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to y’all’s children, how much more will y’all’s heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask ʜɪᴍ?”


They will do these things because they have not known the Father or me.


This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.


For God so loved the world, that ʜᴇ gave ʜɪꜱ only begotten Son, that everyone who believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.


but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again. Indeed, the water that I will give them will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”


Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.


I am the living bread which came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”


The Lord said to him, “Get up and go to Straight street, and at the house of Judah ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. For he is praying,


He who didn’t spare ʜɪꜱ own Son, but gave him up for us all, how would he not also with him graciously give us all things?


It is because of him that y’all are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,


and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ.


Now thanks be to God for ʜɪꜱ indescribable gift!


For it is by grace y’all have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves*, it is the gift of God—


For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and become partakers of the Holy Spirit,


We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding so that we know ʜɪᴍ who is true. And we are in ʜɪᴍ who is true, in ʜɪꜱ Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.


He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty, I will give freely from the spring of the water of life.


The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come. Let the one who desires take the water of life freely.


for the Lamb who is in the center of the throne will shepherd them and ‘lead them to springs of living waters.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”
