Zion, bringer of good news, go up on a high mountain. Jerusalem, bringer of good news, lift up your voice with strength! Lift it up and do not be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah, “Look! Y’all’s God!”


But now YHWH who created you, Jacob, and ʜᴇ who formed you, Israel, says: “Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.


Therefore the Lord ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ will give y’all a sign. Look, the virgin will become pregnant and bear a son, and she will name him Immanuel.


“Is it nothing to all y’all who pass by? Y’all look and see if there is any sorrow like my sorrow, which is brought on me, with which YHWH has afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
