Our ancestors didn’t appreciate your miraculous works in Egypt. They didn’t remember the multitude of your lovingkindnesses, Instead the rebelled at the sea, the Red Sea.


They don’t know or understand. They wander around in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.


Evil men don’t understand justice; but those who seek YHWH understand it fully.


Yes, the dogs are greedy. They can never have enough. They are shepherds who can’t understand. They have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.


Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.


Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables, and he did not speak to them without a parable.


Jesus said to them, “Have y’all understood all these things?” They answered him, “Yes, Lord.”


He didn’t speak to them without a parable; but privately he explained everything to his own disciples.


“I have told y’all these things using figures of speech. But the time is coming when I won’t use figures of speech, but will tell y’all plainly about the Father.


His disciples said to him, “Look, now you’re speaking plainly and not using figures of speech.


In response, the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”


When they heard this, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard saying! Who can understand it?”


What did he mean when he said, ‘Y’all will seek me, but y’all won’t find me,’ and ‘Where I am, y’all cannot come’?”


They didn’t understand that he was speaking to them about the Father.


Why don’t y’all understand what I am saying? It’s because y’all are unable to hear my word.


Now the natural human doesn’t accept the things of the Spirit of God. They are foolishness to the natural person who can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.


This has happened to them according to the true proverbs, “A dog turns to its own vomit,” and “A sow that has washed returns to wallowing in the mire.”


We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding so that we know ʜɪᴍ who is true. And we are in ʜɪᴍ who is true, in ʜɪꜱ Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
