When a person’s ways please YHWH, Hᴇ causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.


The king’s heart is in YHWH’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.


Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.


YHWH said, “Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.


“I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”


For I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land. I will build them, and not pull them down. I will plant them, and not pluck them up.


So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, Nebushazban, Rabsaris, and Nergal Sharezer, Rabmag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon


Now look! I am releasing you today from the chains on your hands. If it seems good to you to come with me into Babylon, come, and I will take care of you. But if it seems bad to you to come with me into Babylon, do not come. See, all the land is before you. Where it seems good and right to you to go, go there.”


Though they go into captivity before their enemies, there I will command the sword, and it will kill them. I will set my eyes on them for evil, and not for good.
