But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, YHWH will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.


“But when the righteous turns away from their righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does the same abominations that the wicked doe, should that person live? None of the righteous deeds they did will be remembered. In their trespass and his sin, in them he will die.


“You, son of humanity, tell the children of your people, ‘The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him in the day of his disobedience. And as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not fall by it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; neither will he who is righteous be able to live by it in the day that he sins.


When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, he will even die therein.


You are to do the same on the seventh day of the month for everyone sins unintentionally or through ignorance. So y’all are to make atonement for the house.


those who have turned back from following YHWH, and those who haven’t sought YHWH nor inquired after him.


because all those men who have seen my glory and my signs, which I worked in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tempted me these ten times, and have not listened to my voice;


none of them will see the land that I swore to their fathers, nor will any of those who despised me see it.


According to the number of the days y’all spied in the land, forty days, for every day, y’all will bear y’all’s iniquities for a year, forty years. Then y’all will know my opposition.’


Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of YHWH your God, which he commanded you; for now YHWH would have established your kingdom on Israel forever.


“It grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments.” Samuel was angry; and he cried to YHWH all night.


Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death, but Samuel mourned for Saul. YHWH grieved that he had made Saul king over Israel.


“Therefore YHWH, the God of Israel, says, ‘I said-said that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now YHWH says, ‘Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.
