4 Look! The wages of the laborers who mowed y’all’s fields, which y’all have kept back by fraud, cry out against y’all. The cries of the harvesters have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.

YHWH said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.


so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to him. Hᴇ heard the cry of the afflicted.


As a servant who earnestly desires the shadow, as a hireling who looks for his wages,


For the one who avenges blood remembers them. Hᴇ does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.


for that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What would he sleep in? It will happen, when he cries to me, that I will hear, for I am gracious.


Now look! The cry of the children of Israel has come to me. I have seen their oppression and how the Egyptians oppress them.


Unless YHWH Almighty had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom. We would have been like Gomorrah.


For the vineyard of YHWH Almighty is the house of Israel, and the people of Judah ʜɪꜱ delightful plant. Hᴇ looked for justice, but saw oppression, for righteousness, heard a cry of distress.


In my ears, YHWH Almighty says: “Surely many houses will be desolate, even great and impressives ones, unoccupied.


“Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his rooms by injustice; who uses his neighbor’s service without wages, and doesn’t give him his hire;


“‘You must not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. “‘The wages of a hired servant must not remain with you all night until the morning.


For the stone will cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it.


I will come near to y’all for judgment. I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, adulterers, perjurers, and those who exploit laborers, widows, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me,” says YHWH Almighty.


Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.


Won’t God bring justice to ʜɪꜱ chosen ones who are crying out to ʜɪᴍ day and night? Will ʜᴇ delay helping them?


As Isaiah has said before, “Unless the Lord of Armies had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and would have been made to resemble Gomorrah.”


Beware that there not be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,” and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing; and he cry to YHWH against you, and it be sin to you.


Masters, give to y’all’s slaves that which is just and equal, knowing that y’all also have a Master in heaven.
