Abram fell on his face. God spoke to him, saying,


When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle, went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly, a voice came to him, and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”


Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of YHWH. I saw YHWH sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.


Five cubits was the length of one wing of the cherub, and five cubits was the length of the other wing of the cherub. From the tip of one wing to the tip of the other was ten cubits.


He set the cherubim within the inner house. The wings of the cherubim were stretched out, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the middle of the house.


For the cherubim spread their wings out over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its poles above.


You are YHWH, even you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their army, the earth and all things that are on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve them all. The army of heaven worships you.


Now on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before YHWH, Satan also came among them.

Hᴇ makes ʜɪꜱ messengers winds, and ʜɪꜱ servants flames of fire.


Hᴇ mounted a cherub and flew, soaring on the wings of the wind.

The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim are to be toward the mercy seat.


Moreover ʜᴇ said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.


The cherubim spread out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the cherubim were toward the mercy seat.


Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.


Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above. Two wings of each one touched another, and two covered their bodies.


When they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of an army. When they stood, they let down their wings.


I looked, and there was a stormy wind came out of the north: a great cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness around it, and out of the middle of it as it were glowing metal, out of the middle of the fire.


Everyone had four faces, and each one of them had four wings.


Their wings were joined to one another. They didn’t turn when they went. Each one went straight forward.


When the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also didn’t turn from beside them.


Every one had four faces, and every one four wings. The likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.


A fiery stream issued and came out from before him. Thousands of thousands ministered to him. Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The judgment was set. The books were opened.

Each one of the four had six wings full of eyes around and within. Day and night, they do not have an intermission from saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”


All the angels were standing encircling the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures. They fell on their faces before ʜɪꜱ throne and worshiped God,


I looked, and I heard one eagle, flying in midheaven, saying with a loud sound, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the other sounds of the trumpets of the three angels, who are about to trumpet!”
