But the multitude of your foes will be like fine dust, and the multitude of the ruthless ones like chaff that blows away. Yes, it will be in an instant, suddenly.


Therefore this iniquity to y’all’s will be like a breach ready to fall, swelling out from a high wall, whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant.


Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance has come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.


Look, I will put a spirit in him, and when he hears a report, he will return to his own land. I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”


“Let come and declare to us what will happen! Y’all tell us about past events, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the their end, or y’all announce to us what is coming.


I am the first to say to Zion, ‘Look, look at them;’ and I will give one who brings good news to Jerusalem.


Look, the former things have happened and I declare new things. I tell y’all about them before they come up.”


Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified, or let them hear, and say, “That is true.”


Y’all declare and present it. Indeed, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, YHWH? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.


Nothing failed of any good thing which YHWH had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
