Nothing will remain but to bow down with the prisoners, and fall among the slain. For all this ʜɪꜱ anger is not turned away, but ʜɪꜱ hand is still stretched out.


The wild oxen will come down with them, and the young bulls with the mighty bulls; and their land will be drunken with blood, and their dust made greasy with fat.


“They will go out, and look at the dead bodies of those who have transgressed against me, for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all humankind.”


He will be buried with the burial of a donkey, drawn and cast out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.”


The slain of YHWH will be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They won’t be lamented. They won’t be gathered or buried. They will be dung on the surface of the ground.


“Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal—


I will leave you on the land. I will cast you out on the open field, and will cause all the birds of the sky to settle on you. I will satisfy the animals of the whole earth with you.


therefore, as I live,” says Lord YHWH, “I will prepare you for blood, and blood will pursue you. Since you have not hated blood, therefore blood will pursue you.
