I pour out my complaint before ʜɪᴍ. I tell ʜɪᴍ my troubles.


When you said, “Y’all are to seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, YHWH.”


These things I remember as I pour out my soul within me, how I used to go with the crowd, and led them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping a holy day.


Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”


I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah.


When ʜᴇ killed them, then they inquired after ʜɪᴍ. They returned and sought God earnestly.


He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.


They said to him, “Hezekiah says, ‘Today is a day of trouble, rebuke, humiliation, as when children have come to the birth, but there is no strength to deliver them.

Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have not been drinking wine or beer, but I poured out my soul before YHWH.
