Now in all Israel there was no one to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty. From the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no defect in him.


For ʜᴇ wounds and binds up. Hᴇ injures and ʜɪꜱ hands make whole.


In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.


Moreover the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, in the day that YHWH binds up the fracture of ʜɪꜱ people, and heals the wound they were struck with.


The heart is deceitful above all things and incurably sick. Who can understand it?


For YHWH says, “Your hurt is incurable. Your wound is grievous.


Why do you cry over your injury? Your pain is incurable. For the greatness of your iniquity, because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.


I will bring it health and healing, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.


They have healed also the hurt of my people superficially, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.


As a well produces its waters, so she produces her wickedness. Violence and destruction is heard in her. Sickness and wounds are continually before me.


There is no healing your wound, for your injury is fatal. All who hear the report of you clap their hands over you, for who hasn’t felt your endless cruelty?


But for y’all who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will arise with healing in its wings. Y’all will go out and run around like calves released from the stall.


When Jesus heard this, he said to them, “Those who are healthy don’t need a doctor, but those who are sick do.


He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. He put the man on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and cared for him.
