How often they rebelled against ʜɪᴍ in the wilderness, and grieved ʜɪᴍ in the desert!


In the first day there is to be to y’all a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no kind of work is to be done in them, except that which every man must eat, only that may be done by y’all.


The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination— how much more, when he brings it with a wicked mind!


“Sacrifices of peace offerings are with me. Today I have paid my vows.


It will happen that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before me,” says YHWH.


Whoever kills an ox is like one who kills a man; whoever sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck; whoever offers an offering, like one who offers pig’s blood; whoever burns frankincense, like one who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.


He has violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were a garden. He has destroyed his place of assembly. YHWH has caused solemn assembly and Sabbath to be forgotten in Zion. In the indignation of his anger, he has despised the king and the priest.

I will turn y’all’s cities to waste, and will bring y’all’s sanctuaries to desolation. I will not smell the sweet fragrance of y’all’s offerings.


“Oh that there were one of y’all who would shut the temple doors, so that y’all would not uselessly kindle fire on my altar! I am not pleased with y’all,” says YHWH Almighty, “nor will I accept an offering from your* hand.


“Make two trumpets of hammered silver make to call the congregation and for having the camps begin journeying.


And they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine human rules.’”


But woe to y’all Pharisees! For y’all tithe mint and rue and every kind of herb, but y’all skip past justice and the love of God. Y’all should have done these things without neglecting the others.


In giving you the following command I do not offer praise, because y’all come together not for the better but for the worse.


Y’all must not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom y’all were sealed for the day of redemption.


It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and infighting, but some also from good pleasure.
