David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against YHWH.” Nathan said to David, “YHWH also has put away your sin. You will not die.


David’s heart struck him after he had counted the people. David said to YHWH, “I have sinned greatly in that which I have done. But now, YHWH, put away, I beg you, the iniquity of your servant; for I have done very foolishly.”


Why do you not pardon my disobedience, and take away my iniquity? For now will I lie down in the dust. You will seek me diligently, but I will not be.”


Accept, I beg you, the willing offerings of my mouth. YHWH, teach me your ordinances.


Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.


For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.


The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart.


I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.


He touched my mouth with it and said, “See, this has touched your lips. Now your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”


Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, ‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says YHWH, ‘I will not look in anger on y’all, for I am merciful,’ says YHWH. ‘I will not stay angry forever.


A merchant has dishonest scales in his hand. He loves to defraud.


The pride of Israel testifies to his face. Therefore Israel and Ephraim will stumble in their iniquity. Judah also will stumble with them.


For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.


Let the priests, the ministers of YHWH, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, “Spare your people, YHWH, and don’t give your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”


But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation belongs to YHWH.”


He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, “Y’all must remove his filthy garments.” Then he said to Joshua, “Look, I have taken away your iniquity, and I will clothe you with fine garments.”


If y’all then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to y’all’s children, how much more will y’all’s Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not through our works, but through ʜɪꜱ own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,


who gave himself for us, in order to redeem us from all lawlessness and purify for himself a people for his own possession, eager to do excellent works.


For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.


Through him, then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips which openly profess his name.


y’all also, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.


But y’all are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy ethnic group, a people of God’s own possession, that y’all may proclaim the virtues of ʜɪᴍ who called y’all out of darkness into ʜɪꜱ marvelous light.


But if we walk in the light as ʜᴇ is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus ʜɪꜱ Son, cleanses us from all sin.


But y’all know that he was revealed to take away sins, and no sin is in him.
