David said to him, “Your blood be on your head, for your mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have slain YHWH’s anointed.’”


“If he fathers a violent son who sheds blood, and who does any one of these things,


has lent with interest, and has taken increase. Will that person live? He will not live! He has done all these abominations. He will die-die. His blood will be on him.


He heard the sound of the trumpet and didn’t take warning. His blood will be on him; whereas if he had heeded the warning, he would have delivered his soul.


After this he will turn his face to the islands, and will take many, but a prince will cause the reproach offered by him to cease. Yes, moreover, he will cause his reproach to turn on him.


There is cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break boundaries, and bloodshed causes bloodshed.


They return, but not to the Most High. They are like a faulty bow. Their princes will fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue. This will be their derision in the land of Egypt.


For the statutes of Omri and all the works of Ahab’s house are observed. Y’all walk in their counsels, that I may bring you to ruin, and your inhabitants to derision. Y’all will bear the reproach of the nations.”


YHWH your God will raise up to you a prophet like me from among you, of your brothers. Y’all must listen to him.


I will raise them up a prophet from among their people, like you. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will speak to them everything that I command him.


You will become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among all the peoples where YHWH will lead you away.


“Therefore YHWH, the God of Israel, says, ‘I said-said that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now YHWH says, ‘Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.
