Twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other on the six steps. Nothing like it was made in any kingdom.


There were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and armrests on either side by the place of the seat, and two lions standing beside the armrests.


“‘When she saw that she had hoped, but her hope had been lost, She took another of her cubs, and made him a young lion.


For I will be to Ephraim like a lion, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I myself will tear in pieces and go away. I will carry off, and there will be no one to deliver.


Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God, for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know YHWH.


The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, among many peoples, like a lion among the animals of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he goes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is no one to deliver.


Look, a people rises up as a lioness, As a lion rouses itself. It will not lie down until it eats of the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.”


He crouches, he lies down like a lion or lioness, who would rouse them? Everyone who blesses you is blessed. Everyone who curses you is cursed.”


Then the end comes, when he will deliver the empire to God the Father, when he has abolished all rule and all authority and power.


About Gad he said, “He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness, and tears the arm and the crown of the head.


One of the elders says to me, “Don’t weep. Look! The Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
