Laban said to him, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, stay here, for I have divined that YHWH has blessed me for your sake.”


Jacob heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, “Jacob has taken away all that was our father’s. He has obtained all this wealth from that which was our father’s.”


YHWH said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your fathers, and to your relatives, and I will be with you.”


and said to them, “I see the expression on y’all’s father’s face, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father has been with me.


but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.
