There all the flocks were gathered. They rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone back on the well’s mouth in its place.


He said, “Look, it is still the middle of the day. It is not time to gather the livestock together. Y’all should water the sheep and take them to feed.”


While he was yet speaking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherd.


and said to them, “We can’t do this thing, to give our sister to one who is uncircumcised; for that is a disgrace to us.
