and said, “My lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, please don’t pass over your servant.


and he said, “See now, my lords, please come into y’all’s servant’s house, stay all night, and wash y’all’s feet. Y’all can get up early and go on y’all’s way.” They said, “No, but we will stay in the street all night.”


He urged them greatly, so they came in with him and entered into his house. He made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.


When he saw the ring, and the bracelets on his sister’s hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, “This is what the man said to me,” he came to the man. There he was standing by the camels at the spring.


that you will do us no harm, as we have not touched you, and as we have done to you nothing but good, and have sent you away in peace.’ You are now the blessed of YHWH.”


When Laban heard the news of Jacob, his sister’s son, he ran to meet Jacob, and embraced him, and kissed him, and brought him to his house. Jacob told Laban all these things.
