Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “YHWH has done great things for them.”


“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Even if these forget, I will not forget you!


Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has conceived these for me, since I have been bereaved of my children and am alone, an exile, and wandering back and forth? Who has brought these up? See, I was left alone. Where did they come from?’”


“Sing, barren, you who didn’t give birth! Break out into singing, and cry aloud, you who didn’t travail with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife,” says YHWH.


Cursed is the man who brought news to my father, saying, “A boy is born to you,” making him glad-glad!


He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice at his birth,


Her neighbors and her relatives heard that the Lord had shown his great mercy toward her, and they rejoiced with her.


Y’all are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep,


By faith even Sarah, though past the time of childbearing, received the ability to conceive, because she considered the one who had promised to be faithful.


She said, “Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to YHWH.
