For YHWH had closed-closed all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.


Abimelech commanded all the people, saying, “Anyone who touches this man or his wife will be put to death-death.”


but about the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘Y’all must not eat from it, and y’all must not touch it, or y’all will die.’”


God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream of the night, and said to him, “Be careful that you don’t speak to Jacob either good or bad.”


Y’all’s father has deceived me, and changed my wages ten times, but God didn’t allow him to hurt me.


They traveled, and a terror of God was on the cities that were around them, and they didn’t pursue the sons of Jacob.


No one is greater in this house than I am, and he has not kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”


Against you, and you only, I have sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight, so you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.


So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.


For YHWH God is a sun and a shield. YHWH will give grace and glory. Hᴇ withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.


For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your borders; neither will any man desire your land when you go up to appear before YHWH, your God, three times in the year.


The king’s heart is in YHWH’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.


So is he who goes in to his neighbor’s wife. Whoever touches her will not be unpunished.


“If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against YHWH, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor,


While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent a message to him: “Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of him.”


Now concerning what y’all wrote about: “It is excellent for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.”


Therefore “‘Y’all come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Y’all must not touch any unclean thing. and I will receive y’all. And,


For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie,


For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. However, the one who restrains him now will continue to do so until he is taken out of the way.


Now therefore, my lord, as YHWH lives and as your soul lives, since YHWH has withheld you from blood guiltiness and from avenging yourself with your own hand, now therefore let your enemies and those who seek evil to my lord be as Nabal.


For indeed, as YHWH the God of Israel lives, who has withheld me from harming you, unless you had hurried and come to meet me, surely there wouldn’t have been left to Nabal by the morning light so much as one who urinates on a wall.”
