14 Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said, “Y’all get up and get out of this place! For YHWH will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be joking.

When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, “Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”


It came to pass, when they had taken them out, that he said, “Escape for your life! Don’t look behind you, and don’t stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!”


Hurry, escape there, for I can’t do anything until you get there.” Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.


So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun, but people ridiculed them and mocked them.


but they mocked the messengers of God, despised ʜɪꜱ words, and scoffed at ʜɪꜱ prophets, until YHWH’s wrath arose against ʜɪꜱ people, until there was no remedy.

“Y’all must flee from Babylon! Y’all must escape with your own life! Don’t let yourself* be killed for her iniquity, because it is the time of YHWH’s vengeance. Hᴇ will repay her what she deserves.


Then I said, “Ah Lord YHWH! They say of me, ‘Isn’t he a speaker of parables?’”


“Y’all must separate from among this congregation, so that I may consume them instantly!”


He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Y’all must move away from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, or y’all will be destroyed with all their sins!”


“Y’all must get away among this congregation, so that I may consume instantly!” They fell on their faces.


Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened this way: His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.


he said to them, “Y’all need to leave, because the girl is not dead but asleep.” But they ridiculed him.


But these words seemed like nonsense to them, and they didn’t believe them.


While the boy was approaching, the demon slammed him on the ground and threw him into a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.


When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some began to mock him, but others said, “We want to hear you again about this.”


While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and then there will be no escape.
