Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a tender and good calf, and gave it to the servant. He hurried to dress it.


They asked him, “Where is Sarah, your wife?” He said, “There, in the tent.”


He urged them greatly, so they came in with him and entered into his house. He made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.


On that day, men were appointed over the rooms for the treasures, for the wave offerings, for the first fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them according to the fields of the cities the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites who served.


He will eat butter and honey when he knows enough to refuse the evil and choose the good.


A because of the abundance of milk which they give he will eat butter. Indeed everyone that is left within the land will eat butter and honey.


Blessed are those servants whose master finds alert when he comes. Truly I tell y’all that he will dress himself to serve, have them recline at the table, and will come and serve them.


Instead, wouldn’t the master say to him, ‘Prepare my dinner, get yourself ready, and serve me while I eat and drink. After that, you may eat and drink’?


When he had reclined at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and began giving it to them.


and he took it and ate it in front of them.


So they made him a supper there. Martha served, but Lazarus was among those who dined at the table with him.


not by all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.


For y’all were called to freedom, siblings. Only don’t use y’all’s freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
