I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God.”


They also said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live as foreigners in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks. For the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”


For ʜᴇ remembered ʜɪꜱ holy word, with Abraham, his servant.


Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. They built storage cities for Pharaoh: Pithom and Raamses.


The Egyptians ruthlessly made the children of Israel serve,


and they made their lives bitter with hard service in mortar and in brick, and in all kinds of service in the field, all their service, in which they ruthlessly made them serve.


God heard their groaning, and God remembered ʜɪꜱ covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.


“You must not wrong or oppress a foreigner, for y’all were foreigners in the land of Egypt.


“You must not oppress a foreigner, because y’all know the soul of an foreigner, since y’all were foreigners in the land of Egypt.


Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”


I have said that I will bring y’all up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.”’


I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.


The foreigner who resides among y’all is be to as the native-born among y’all, and you are love them as yourself, because y’all lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am YHWH y’all’s God.


how our fathers went down into Egypt, and we lived in Egypt a long time. The Egyptians mistreated us and our fathers.


“But as the time of the promise which God had given to Abraham drew near, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,


What I mean is this: The law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not invalidate a confirmed beforehand by God, so as to nullify the promise.


Therefore y’all are to love the foreigner, for y’all were foreigners in the land of Egypt.


You must remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and YHWH your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore YHWH your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
