But there was no one like Ahab, who sold himself to do that which was evil in YHWH’s sight, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.


Y’all tremble before ʜɪᴍ, all the earth. The world is firmly established, it can’t be moved.


But now, because he has not visited in his anger, neither does he greatly regard arrogance,


Praise YHWH! Blessed is the man who fears YHWH, who delights greatly in ʜɪꜱ commandments.


Hᴇ will bless those who fear YHWH, both small and great.


For you will eat from the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.


But the humble will inherit the land, and delight in the abundance of peace.


Y’all worship YHWH in holy array. Y’all tremble before ʜɪᴍ, all the earth.


God dealt well with the midwives, and the people multiplied, and grew very mighty.


Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous.


Blessed is the one who always fears; but one who hardens their heart falls into trouble.


This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.


I know that whatever God does, it will be forever. Nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it; and God has done it, that people will fear ʜɪᴍ.


This also is a grievous evil: just as one enters, so they will go. And what profit does a person have who labors for the wind?


For in the multitude of dreams there are vanities, as well as in many words; but you must fear God.


All this I have seen in my days of emptiness: there is a righteous person who perishes in their righteousness, and there is a wicked person who lives long in their evildoing.


It is good that you should take hold of this. Yes, also don’t withdraw your hand from that; for he who fears God will come out of them all.


They are not humbled even to this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before y’all and before your* ancestors.’


“Then the King will tell those on his right, ‘Come, y’all who are blessed of my Father, inherit the empire prepared for y’all from the foundation of the world;


Hɪꜱ mercy is upon generations after generations on those who fear ʜɪᴍ.


But according to your callous and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,


What if God, willing to show ʜɪꜱ wrath and to make ʜɪꜱ power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction?


You must not eat it, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do that which is right in eyes of YHWH.


Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in YHWH your God’s eyes.


You are to keep ʜɪꜱ statutes and ʜɪꜱ commandments that I command you today, so that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which YHWH your God gives you for all time.


then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
