Binding his foal to the vine, his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he has washed his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.


They came there into the middle of the house as though they would have fetched wheat, and they struck him in the body; and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.


Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat for food to his household, and twenty cors of pure oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year.


until I come and take y’all away to a land like your* own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and of honey, where y’all may live and not die. But y’all must not listen to Hezekiah when he persuades y’all, saying, “YHWH will deliver us.”


Hᴇ makes peace in your borders. Hᴇ fills you with the finest of the wheat.


But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock.”


In that day that every place where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand shekels of silver, will become briers and thorns.


I brought y’all into a plentiful land to eat its fruit and its goodness. But when y’all entered, y’all defiled my land, and y’all made my heritage an abomination.


They will eat up your harvest and your bread, which your sons and your daughters should eat. They will eat up your flocks and your herds. They will eat up your vines and your fig trees. They will beat down your fortified cities in which you trust with the sword.


“‘“Judah and the land of Israel were your traders. They traded wheat of Minnith, confections, honey, oil, and balm for your merchandise.


and the earth will respond to the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they will respond to Jezreel.


For she didn’t know that I gave her the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and multiplied to her silver and gold, which they used for Baal.


But every human will sit under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid, for the mouth of YHWH Almighty has spoken.


For even though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food, the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls,


They came to the valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it on a staff between two. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs.


Then they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.


“A boy is here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many?”


Hᴇ made him ride on the high places of the earth. Hᴇ ate the increase of the field. Hᴇ caused him to suck honey out of the rock, oil out of the flinty rock;


butter from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest of the wheat. From the blood of the grape, you drank wine.


Listen, Israel, and be careful to do it, that it may go well with you, and that y’all may multiply greatly, just as YHWH, the God of your ancestors, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.


For YHWH your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills,


a land where you will eat bread without scarcity, you will not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig copper.
