YHWH, y’all’s Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: “For y’all’s sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.


For before the child knows how to say, ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”


A sword is on the boasters, and they will become fools. A sword is on her mighty men, and they will be dismayed.


The warriors of Babylon have stopped fighting, they remain in their strongholds. Their might has failed. They have become like women. Her dwelling places are set on fire. Her bars are broken.


Her gates have sunk into the ground. He has destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the nations where the law is not. Yes, her prophets find no vision from YHWH.

The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth will fall by the sword. They will go into captivity.

Look, your troops among you are women. The gates of your land are open-open to your enemies. The fire has devoured your gate bars.
