Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.


and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year, they met together with the church and taught a considerable number of people. The disciples were first called ‘Christians’ in Antioch.


The disciples decided to send help to the siblings living in Judea, each according to their means.


but first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and all throughout Judea, then also to the ethnic groups, I proclaimed that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds worthy of repentance.


Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized.


When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join to the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.


Lydda was near Joppa, so when the disciples heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to urge him, “Don’t delay in coming to us.”


nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me. Instead I departed to Arabia, and then returned to Damascus.


They gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. When he had eaten, his spirit came again to him; for he had eaten no bread, and drank no water for three days and three nights.
