He divided himself against them by night, he and his servants, and struck them, and pursued them to Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.


After these things, God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.”


The angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am.’


but if he says, ‘I have no delight in you,’ then here I am. Let him do to me as seems good to him.”


When YHWH saw that he came over to see, God called to him out of the middle of the bush, and said, “Moses! Moses!” He said, “Here I am.”


I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom should I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”


Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.


He said, “Now y’all listen to my words. If there is a prophet among y’all, I, YHWH, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.


At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, “Cornelius!”


“I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision, something like a huge sheet descending by its four corners down from heaven, and it came to me.


So he followed the angel out, but he didn’t know that what the angel was doing was real; he thought he was seeing a vision.


After he saw the vision, we immediately prepared to go to Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.


During the night a vision appeared to Paul in which a Macedonian man was standing and begging him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”


One night, the Lord said to Paul in a vision, “Don’t be afraid, but keep speaking and don’t be silent.


‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Y’all’s sons and y’all’s daughters will prophesy. Y’all’s young men will see visions. Y’all’s old men will dream dreams.


“Ananias, a devout man according to the law, and highly spoken of by all the Jews who lived there,


and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias coming in and laying his hands on him so that his sight would be restored.”


For three days, he could not see, and he didn’t eat or drink.


In Damascus a ruler under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascenes in order to apprehend me.


nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me. Instead I departed to Arabia, and then returned to Damascus.


YHWH called Samuel. He said, “Here I am.”
