One day, Jesus got into a boat with his disciples and said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.


She followed behind Paul and us, shouting, “These men, who are proclaiming to y’all a way of salvation, are servants of the Most High God!”


After they passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.


Many of those who practiced sorcery collected their scrolls and burned them in the front of everyone. They computed the value of the scrolls and found the total to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.


Then the whole city was filled with the uproar, and they rushed into the theater with one mind, dragging along Gaius and Aristarchus, Paul’s traveling companions from Macedonia.

When our time there was complete, we left and continued on our journey. All of them, including wives and children, escorted us out of the city. After kneeling down on the beach to pray,

When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself with the soldier who guarded him.


The islanders showed us uncommon kindness, building us a fire and taking us all in because it was raining and cold.
