As y’all are going, preach this message, ‘The Empire of Heaven has come near!’


When anyone hears the word of the empire and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in their heart. This is the seed sown by the roadside.


He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Empire of Heaven is like a human owner of a house, who brings out of their treasure new and old things.”


From that time on Jesus began to preach and say, “Y’all must repent! For the Empire of Heaven has come near.”


Jesus went about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the empire, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.


“The Law and the Prophets lead up to John. Since then, the gospel of the Empire of God is proclaimed, and everyone is strongly urged to enter it.


But Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the Empire of God.”


What grieved them most was his words about never seeing his face again. Then they accompanied him to the ship.

But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the Empire of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

I want y’all know how greatly I struggle for y’all, for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not seen my face in the flesh;
