And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.


“For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come and will see my glory.


The word of YHWH Almighty came to me.


This gospel of the empire will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the ethnic groups, and then the end will come.


For as lightning flashes from one end of the sky and lights up the other side, so will the Son of Humanity be in his day.


Now, there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him.


One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things that have happened there in these days?”


Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.


He and his entire household were devout and feared God, doing many charitable deeds for the people and praying to God continually.


When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier who was one of his attendants.


But the Jews incited the prominent God-fearing women and the prominent men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their region.


Now when the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.


“Ananias, a devout man according to the law, and highly spoken of by all the Jews who lived there,


Devout men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him.


So he got up and went. There he saw an Ethiopian man, a eunuch and high official of Kandake (queen of the Ethiopians), who was over her entire treasury. He had gone to Jerusalem to worship,


Today I will begin to put the dread and the fear of you on the peoples who are under the whole sky, who will hear the report of you, tremble, and be in anguish because of you.”


if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a deacon.
