They couldn’t find a way to do it, because all the people were hanging on him, listening.


And Jesus continued to progress in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and humans.


The hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number believed and turned to the Lord.


For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and a considerable number of people were added to the Lord.


When the ethnic groups heard this, they began to rejoice and praise the word of the Lord, and all who were appointed to eternal life believed.


It happened again in Iconium, where they entered the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed.


They preached the gospel in that city and made many disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,


So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and increased in number daily.


As a result, many of them believed, including a number of prominent Greek women and not small number of men.


For the promise is to y’all and y’all’s children, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”


Then those who received his word were baptized, and about three thousand souls were added to their number that day.


After threatening them again, they let them go because they found no way to punish them while all the people were glorifying God for what had happened.


With massive power the apostles were giving their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and massive grace was on them all.


But many of those who heard the message believed, and the number of men came to be about five thousand.


In those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, a complaint arose from the culturally Greek Jews against the culturally Hebraic Jews, because their widows were being overlooked in the daily deacon-work.


So the word of God spread, the number of the disciples increased rapidly in Jerusalem, and a large group of the priests became obedient to the faith.


Then the church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was being built up. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, the church increased in number.


All who lived at Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.


for anyone who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by humans.


Those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.


Isaiah cries concerning Israel, “Though the number of the children of Israel are like the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved,


For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.
